The Final Straw

life is not easy
the one thing i know
i keep on hurting
everyone i know

it feels like i'm drowning
the light's growing dim
and i keep on grasping
at anything i can

but god does not live here
the rain will not stop
is there a heaven
if i make one up

there's no room for pain there
no one can die

eyes are dry
